Bonnie Zinanti's Art Class for Kids

I became hooked on arts and crafts at a young age and never let go of it. All children are talented artists. When a person gives up on art an important piece of their childhood is lost. Making art is a wonderful form of play. Tiny Tots age 3 to 5 with adult partner is held from 5:15 to 5:45. Children 6 & up held from 6 to 7 without adult partner. Please pick up your child by 7. Material fee of $15 due to instructor 1st night to cover art supplies.

Art classes begin Sept. 19th 2017

This year our classes will be held at Crescent View Middle School. The first night our 5:15 tiny tot group will be using markers on black velvet. The 6:00 class will be learning cartooning. There will be no class on Sept. 26. We meet eight times and the final class is November 14th.

Our Final Art Class is March 28th 2017

Tuesday will be our 8th and final class of Winter Community Education.

The 5:15 class will be decorating wooden fans.

At 6:00 the students will be playing with clay and designing postage stamps.

Art Classes will resume in the Fall.

Art Class #7 is March 21

When we meet again on Tuesday our 5:15 class will be

using paint markers that make circles.

The 6:00 class will be working on a project which includes beach balls.

Next Tuesday, March 14, is art class #6

Next Tuesday our young students with their adult partners will decorate tote bags.

The 6:00 class will be using oil pastels for a resist in a painting lesson.

Art Class # 4 is Feb. 28th

Our Tiny Tot class has 7 students. Last Tuesday we played with clay. Next week

the students will design mugs they can actually drink from.

Our 6:00 will be doing art work called Tessellations.

The artist, M.C. Escher is famous for this method.

Class #3 February 21st

Next time we get together the Tiny Tot group will be playing with clay

and as usual students take home what they created.

Our 6:00 class will be putting their own artwork on ceramic tiles using permanent markers.

Class #2 meets Tuesday, Feb. 7th

Last Tuesday there were 6 students in the 5:15 class and 17 students in the 6:00 class.
Tiny Tots created sticker scenes and the Class for children made 2017 calendars.
In week #2 the Tiny Tots will make guitars and the older children will be learning cartooning.
